Preheat the oven to 175°C and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, thoroughly mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, chopped onion, eggs, salt, and pepper until fully combined.

Press half of the meat mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared loaf pan.

Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon evenly over the first meat layer.

Cover with the remaining meat mixture, pressing gently and sealing the edges to enclose the filling.

Brush the top with additional ketchup. Bake for 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 71°C.

Allow the meatloaf to rest in the pan for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
