07 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Cinnamon Sugar Topping

08 - 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

# How to Prepare:

01 - Preheat oven to 180°C. Lightly grease an 20×20-centimetre baking pan or line with parchment paper.
02 - In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
03 - In a separate bowl, cream softened butter with granulated sugar until mixture is light and fluffy.
04 - Add egg and vanilla extract to the creamed butter mixture. Mix until thoroughly combined.
05 - Gradually blend the dry mixture into the wet mixture, mixing just until a soft dough forms.
06 - Evenly press the dough into the prepared baking pan, smoothing the top.
07 - Combine ground cinnamon and granulated sugar. Evenly sprinkle the mixture over the surface of the dough.
08 - Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until edges are golden and a toothpick inserted in the centre emerges clean.
09 - Allow bars to cool completely in the pan. Once cooled, cut into squares or bars of desired size.
10 - Serve and enjoy these chewy snickerdoodle cookie bars.

03 - Ideal for bake sales, holidays, or as a casual afternoon treat.
