11 - 25 g grated Parmesan cheese

→ For Frying & Serving

12 - Vegetable or peanut oil, for deep-frying
13 - Remoulade dipping sauce
14 - Lemon wedges

# How to Prepare:

01 - In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, Cajun seasoning, eggs, buttermilk, and hot sauce. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and free of lumps.
02 - In a separate dish, stir together the Italian breadcrumbs, panko breadcrumbs, and grated Parmesan cheese until evenly mixed.
03 - Dip each shrimp into the batter, ensuring full coverage, then dredge in the breadcrumb mixture to coat thoroughly.
04 - Fill a deep fryer or large, heavy-bottomed pot with oil and heat to 175–190°C. Monitor the temperature closely to maintain even frying.
05 - Working in batches, lower the coated shrimp into the hot oil and fry for 2–3 minutes, or until golden-brown and crisp.
06 - Transfer fried shrimp to a paper towel–lined plate to drain. While hot, sprinkle lightly with salt to enhance flavor.
07 - Arrange the crispy fried shrimp on a platter. Serve immediately with remoulade dipping sauce and lemon wedges.

# Extra Tips:

01 - For extra crunch, use a combination of Italian and panko breadcrumbs. Ensure oil is at the correct temperature before frying to avoid soggy coating.
02 - Adjust the spice level by increasing the amount of hot sauce or Cajun seasoning in the batter.
03 - This preparation works seamlessly as an appetizer, main course, or sandwich filling.
