Crispy fried shrimp meets spicy-sweet hot honey glaze for an unforgettable flavor fusion that's ready in 30 minutes.

# What You’ll Need to Make This:

→ Shrimp

01 - 450 g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
02 - 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
03 - 0.5 teaspoon smoked paprika
04 - 0.25 teaspoon fine salt
05 - 0.25 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
06 - 120 g all-purpose flour
07 - 240 ml buttermilk
08 - 60 g panko breadcrumbs
09 - Vegetable oil, for deep frying

→ Hot Honey Glaze

10 - 120 ml honey
11 - 30–45 ml hot sauce
12 - 15 g unsalted butter
13 - 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
14 - 15 ml apple cider vinegar

# How to Prepare:

01 - Pat shrimp dry thoroughly with paper towels. Season evenly with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
02 - Place flour in a shallow dish, pour buttermilk into a second dish, and spread panko breadcrumbs in a third dish.
03 - Dredge each shrimp in flour, tapping off excess. Dip into buttermilk, then press firmly into panko to ensure complete coating.
04 - Place breaded shrimp on a plate or tray and repeat the coating process with all shrimp.
05 - Pour vegetable oil into a deep skillet or pot until 5 cm deep. Heat to 175°C (350°F).
06 - Fry shrimp in small batches for 2–3 minutes or until golden and crisp. Do not overcrowd the pan.
07 - Remove shrimp using a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess oil.
08 - In a small saucepan, combine honey, hot sauce, butter, red pepper flakes (if desired), and apple cider vinegar. Heat on medium, stirring, until butter melts and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat.
09 - Arrange hot fried shrimp on a serving plate. Drizzle with hot honey glaze or offer glaze alongside as a dipping sauce.

# Extra Tips:

01 - For extra heat, increase the amount of hot sauce or add additional red pepper flakes.
02 - Use a kitchen thermometer to maintain oil temperature for crisp, evenly-fried shrimp.
