Creamy penne with kielbasa and cheddar, cooked in one pot for a hearty, quick, and comforting family dinner.

# What You’ll Need to Make This:

→ Main

01 - 450 grams kielbasa sausage, sliced into coins
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 1 small onion, diced
05 - 720 milliliters chicken broth
06 - 240 milliliters heavy cream
07 - 200 grams uncooked penne pasta
08 - 1 teaspoon paprika
09 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
10 - 170 grams shredded sharp cheddar cheese
11 - 50 grams grated Parmesan cheese
12 - Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

# How to Prepare:

01 - Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the sliced kielbasa and sauté until browned on both sides, approximately 4 to 5 minutes. Transfer kielbasa to a plate and set aside.
02 - In the same pot, add diced onion and cook until translucent, about 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
03 - Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to deglaze the pot. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
04 - Add uncooked penne, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir thoroughly to combine, cover with lid, and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and most liquid is absorbed.
05 - Reduce the heat to low. Return the browned kielbasa to the pot and fold in shredded cheddar and grated Parmesan cheese. Stir until cheese is fully melted and sauce is creamy.
06 - Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately while hot.

# Extra Tips:

01 - Use freshly grated cheese for a smoother, creamier sauce and optimal flavor.
