Peach Lemonade Summer Sipper (Print-Friendly Version)

Fresh peaches and tangy lemon blend for a sunny, hydrating drink—easy to make ahead and serve at any gathering.

# What You’ll Need to Make This:

→ Peach Syrup

01 - 525 g ripe peaches, peeled and chopped (approximately 3 large peaches or 2 cups)
02 - 475 ml water
03 - 100 g sugar (use regular, brown sugar, honey, or a sugar substitute such as erythritol or stevia)

→ Lemonade Base

04 - 80 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice (approximately 2 lemons)
05 - 710 ml water (still, sparkling, coconut water, or a combination with 60 ml alcohol if desired)
06 - Lemon slices (from one lemon) and/or peach slices

→ Garnish (Optional)

07 - Fresh mint leaves
08 - Ice cubes

# How to Prepare:

01 - Combine chopped peaches, sugar, and 475 ml water in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring frequently.
02 - Reduce heat and simmer for 5–10 minutes, until the peaches become soft and mushy.
03 - Remove saucepan from heat and allow mixture to cool to room temperature for 30 minutes. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve, reserving the liquid.
04 - Juice lemons to yield 80 ml and reserve lemon zest if desired for garnish or future use.
05 - In a large pitcher, combine the peach syrup (approximately 240 ml), lemon juice, and 710 ml of chosen water or water-alcohol blend. Stir to combine.
06 - Taste and adjust sweetness, citrus, or dilution as desired. Serve over ice in individual glasses. Garnish with peach or lemon slices and fresh mint if desired.

# Extra Tips:

01 - The syrup can be prepared ahead and refrigerated for up to 2 weeks. Finished peach lemonade should be consumed within 5–7 days. Replace fresh fruit or herbs daily for optimal freshness.
02 - Adjust the ratio of syrup to lemon juice to customize sweetness or tartness to preference.
03 - Use ripe, in-season peaches for the best flavour. Frozen peaches can be substituted when out of season.
04 - For a slushie, blend peach syrup, lemon juice, water, and plenty of ice in a high-speed blender.
05 - Peach lemonade can be poured into popsicle molds and frozen for up to 2 months for a refreshing treat.
