# What You’ll Need to Make This:

→ Salad

01 - 375 g fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
02 - 120 g baby spinach or spring mix greens
03 - 1/2 cucumber, thinly sliced or 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
04 - 50 g crumbled goat cheese or feta
05 - 30 g toasted pecans, walnuts, or almonds
06 - Sliced avocado, optional
07 - Fresh summer fruits such as blueberries or sliced nectarines, optional

→ Balsamic Vinaigrette

08 - 45 ml extra virgin olive oil
09 - 15 ml balsamic vinegar
10 - 5 ml honey or maple syrup
11 - 2.5 ml Dijon mustard
12 - Salt, to taste
13 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# How to Prepare:

01 - In a small jar or bowl, combine olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey or maple syrup, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Shake vigorously or whisk until fully emulsified.
02 - Spread the greens evenly in a large salad bowl or on a serving platter.
03 - Scatter the sliced strawberries, cucumber or red onion, crumbled cheese, and toasted nuts over the greens.
04 - Add sliced avocado and any extra fruits such as blueberries or nectarines, if desired.
05 - Drizzle the salad with prepared balsamic vinaigrette just before serving and toss gently to combine.
