# What You’ll Need to Make This:

→ Base

01 - 500 ml water
02 - 500 ml milk, dairy or plant-based

→ Flavorings

03 - 4 cinnamon sticks or 10 ml ground cinnamon
04 - 4 vanilla beans, split and scraped or 20 ml vanilla extract
05 - 2 whole star anise, optional

→ Tea

06 - 20 ml loose-leaf black tea or 4 black tea bags, optional

→ Sweetener

07 - Honey, sugar, or preferred sweetener to taste

# How to Prepare:

01 - Bring 500 ml water to a boil in a small saucepan.
02 - If using cinnamon sticks and vanilla beans, add them with star anise to the boiling water. Turn off heat and cover with a lid to steep. If using ground cinnamon and vanilla extract, add directly to water and skip the steeping.
03 - Allow the cinnamon, vanilla, and star anise to infuse in the hot water for 10 minutes.
04 - For black tea, add loose-leaf tea or tea bags to the infusion and steep an additional 3 to 5 minutes, adjusting for desired strength.
05 - Gently heat 500 ml milk in a separate saucepan until warm but not boiling.
06 - Pour the cinnamon-vanilla infusion through a fine strainer into the warm milk, discarding solids.
07 - Stir in honey, sugar, or your preferred sweetener to taste. Serve hot, or let cool and serve over ice for a chilled beverage.

# Extra Tips:

01 - For a vegan version, choose plant-based milk and a vegan sweetener such as maple syrup or agave.
02 - Adjust cinnamon and vanilla quantities to match desired intensity.
