Smoky chicken, gooey cheddar, and zesty sauce wrapped in crisp tortillas—perfect for quick and tasty meals.

# What You’ll Need to Make This:

→ Quesadilla Filling

01 - 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (approximately 450 g)
02 - 1 cup (240 ml) barbecue sauce
03 - 2 cups (200 g) shredded cheddar cheese
04 - ¼ cup (25 g) chopped green onions
05 - ¼ cup (10 g) chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

→ Assembly

06 - 4 large flour tortillas

# How to Prepare:

01 - Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Cook for 6–8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 74°C and the chicken is no longer pink.
02 - Allow chicken to rest briefly, then shred using two forks. Toss the shredded chicken with barbecue sauce, ensuring even coating.
03 - Place one tortilla flat; sprinkle half with a layer of cheddar cheese, add an even portion of the BBQ chicken mixture, green onions, cilantro if desired, and an additional layer of cheese. Fold the tortilla in half to enclose the filling.
04 - Heat a small amount of oil in a clean skillet over medium-high heat. Cook each quesadilla for 3–4 minutes per side until the tortilla is golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
05 - Let quesadillas cool slightly, then slice into wedges. Serve immediately with additional barbecue sauce or sour cream if desired.

# Extra Tips:

01 - Chilling the cooked chicken briefly before shredding helps achieve uniform texture.
02 - For added smokiness, char the tortillas directly over a gas flame before assembly.
