Cook lasagna noodles in abundant salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain well and set aside.

In a large pan over medium heat, brown ground beef with chopped onions and minced garlic until beef is cooked through and onions are translucent.

Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and chopped parsley. Lower the heat and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes until flavors meld.

In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese and egg. Mix until smooth.

Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Arrange a layer of noodles over the sauce, then cover with additional meat sauce, dollops of ricotta mixture, a sprinkle of mozzarella, and a scattering of Parmesan. Repeat layering process.

Top with a final layer of noodles, spoon over remaining sauce, and evenly distribute the leftover mozzarella and Parmesan.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for approximately 60 minutes or until lasagna is deeply golden and bubbling at the edges.
