Blackberry Cobbler Golden Crust (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 480 g fresh blackberries, or frozen (thawed and drained)
02 - 200 g granulated sugar, divided
03 - 120 g all-purpose flour
04 - 5 g baking powder
05 - 1 g salt
06 - 115 g unsalted butter, melted
07 - 240 ml milk
08 - 5 ml vanilla extract

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 175°C. Grease a 23x23 cm baking dish. In a bowl, gently toss blackberries with 50 g sugar and set aside.
02 - In a mixing bowl, whisk together remaining 150 g sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt. Add melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Stir until just combined; the mixture may remain slightly lumpy.
03 - Pour batter evenly into prepared baking dish. Spoon sugared blackberries over the batter without mixing. The batter will rise during baking.
04 - Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the surface is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the crust comes out clean.
05 - Allow to cool slightly. Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

# Notes:

01 - For added flavor, consider sprinkling extra sugar or a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg over the top before baking.
