# What You’ll Need to Make This:

→ Pasta and Sausage

01 - 1 teaspoon olive oil
02 - 340 grams Italian-style chicken sausages, sliced
03 - 1 cup diced onion
04 - 0.5 teaspoon salt
05 - 2 teaspoons minced garlic
06 - 0.5 teaspoon crushed red pepper, optional
07 - 950 millilitres chicken broth
08 - 225 grams Radiatore pasta or alternative small pasta

→ Fresh Vegetables & Flavor

09 - 2 cups chopped zucchini
10 - 2 tablespoons lemon juice
11 - 150 grams grated Parmesan cheese, divided
12 - 1 cup halved grape tomatoes
13 - 33 grams chopped fresh basil

# How to Prepare:

01 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced chicken sausage and diced onion. Sauté until sausage is browned and onion softens.
02 - Stir in minced garlic, salt, and crushed red pepper if using. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
03 - Pour in chicken broth, scraping any browned bits from the pan. Add pasta and bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.
04 - Stir in chopped zucchini and continue cooking for 5 minutes, until pasta is tender and zucchini is just cooked.
05 - Mix in lemon juice, 1 cup Parmesan cheese, halved grape tomatoes, and fresh basil. Stir gently to combine.
06 - Serve immediately, topped with the remaining Parmesan cheese.

# Extra Tips:

01 - For extra brightness, reserve some fresh basil to sprinkle on top just before serving.
