Crescent rolls, chili, and hot dogs combine for a cheesy, crowd-pleasing family favorite, topped with gooey cheddar.

# What You’ll Need to Make This:

→ Main Components

01 - 6–8 hot dogs (beef, turkey, chicken, or plant-based)
02 - 500–600 g crescent roll dough (1–2 cans)
03 - 720 ml canned or homemade chili (with or without beans)
04 - 200 g shredded cheddar cheese

→ Optional Enhancements

05 - 30 g melted butter (optional, for brushing)
06 - 2 g garlic powder or 15 g chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

# How to Prepare:

01 - Preheat oven to 190°C and lightly grease a 33×23 cm baking dish.
02 - Unroll crescent dough and wrap each triangle around a hot dog, placing seam-side down in the prepared dish.
03 - Pour chili evenly around the crescent-wrapped hot dogs, leaving the tops uncovered.
04 - Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese uniformly over the chili and hot dogs.
05 - Bake for 25–30 minutes until the crescent rolls are golden and fully cooked.
06 - If desired, brush roll tops with melted butter, then sprinkle with garlic powder or chopped parsley.
07 - Allow to cool slightly before serving. Present warm directly from the pan.

# Extra Tips:

01 - For added flavour, use leftover homemade chili or incorporate cream cheese or sour cream into the chili mixture for a richer result.
02 - Add sliced jalapeños or substitute pepper jack cheese for a spicier experience.
03 - Crescent roll dough can be replaced with biscuit dough for a fluffier bake.
04 - Assemblage can be completed in advance and refrigerated, then baked fresh before serving.
