Crispiest Air Fryer Gnocchi (Print-Friendly Version)

Crispy, golden gnocchi cooked quickly in the air fryer—perfect as a snack, appetizer, or side.

# What You’ll Need to Make This:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 454 grams gnocchi (shelf-stable, refrigerated, or frozen; regular, cauliflower, or sweet potato)
02 - 15–30 milliliters extra-virgin olive oil
03 - 2 grams garlic powder
04 - 2 grams salt
05 - 2 grams ground black pepper

→ Finishing Touch

06 - 15–25 grams freshly grated parmesan cheese

# How to Prepare:

01 - Set air fryer to 200°C and lightly grease the basket with olive oil spray.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine gnocchi with extra-virgin olive oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and half of the parmesan. Toss until evenly coated. If using frozen gnocchi, do not thaw.
03 - Arrange seasoned gnocchi in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overlap for optimal crispiness.
04 - For shelf-stable or refrigerated gnocchi, air fry at 200°C for 11–14 minutes, shaking the basket every 4–5 minutes. For frozen gnocchi, air fry at 200°C for 13–16 minutes, shaking the basket every 4–5 minutes. Continue cooking until the exterior is golden and crisp.
05 - Transfer the gnocchi to a serving bowl. Garnish with additional parmesan and optional chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately as an appetizer, snack, or side dish. Optionally, accompany with marinara sauce or pesto for dipping.

# Extra Tips:

01 - For vegan preparation, omit parmesan and substitute with nutritional yeast. Best served immediately for maximum crispiness; store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
02 - To reheat, air fry at 175°C for 4–6 minutes until hot and crispy.
03 - Homemade gnocchi may be used; sweet potato varieties deliver vibrant flavor and texture.
