12 - Diced tomatoes
13 - Fresh cilantro, chopped
14 - Sliced scallions
15 - Sliced avocado
16 - Sliced black olives
17 - Sour cream
18 - Shredded lettuce

# Instructions:

01 - Set oven to 175°C and position rack in the center.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook for 5 minutes, breaking up the meat with a spoon.
03 - Incorporate chopped onion, chili powder, garlic powder, and ground cumin into the skillet. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
04 - Spread crushed Doritos in an even layer at the base of a 33x23 cm casserole dish.
05 - Remove excess fat from the cooked beef mixture if necessary. Add black beans, corn, salsa, and half of the shredded cheese to the skillet. Stir to combine and cook until cheese is melted and mixture is heated through.
06 - Evenly distribute the beef and bean mixture over the layer of crushed Doritos in the casserole dish.
07 - Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese over the surface. Bake uncovered for 15 to 20 minutes, until heated through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
08 - While casserole bakes, prepare desired garnishes such as tomatoes, cilantro, scallions, avocado, black olives, sour cream, and shredded lettuce.
09 - Portion casserole and serve hot, topped with selected garnishes.

# Notes:

01 - Use freshly shredded cheese for optimal melting and texture.
02 - For a spicier flavor, select hot salsa or add finely diced jalapeño to the beef mixture.
