Brownie Peanut Butter Swirl (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter.
02 - 3/4 cup butter, split (1/2 cup melted for brownie mix, 1/4 cup softened for peanut butter mix).
03 - 1/2 cup packed brown sugar.
04 - 1 cup granulated sugar.
05 - 2 big eggs (separated).
06 - 2 teaspoons vanilla (split).
07 - 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour (split).
08 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.
09 - 1/4 teaspoon baking powder.
10 - 1/2 teaspoon salt (split).
11 - 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder.
12 - 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips.

# Instructions:

01 - Cream together peanut butter, soft butter, and brown sugar until fluffy. Stir in egg and some vanilla. Add a combo of flour, salt, and baking soda last.
02 - Mix melted butter and sugar until smooth, then stir in cocoa powder. Add an egg, a splash of vanilla, and blend in flour, baking powder, salt, and chocolate chips at the end.
03 - Pop both doughs into the fridge and let them firm up for half an hour.
04 - Scoop a little of each dough onto a lined baking sheet, side by side. Give them a gentle swirl together, using a toothpick.
05 - Bake in a 350°F oven for about 9-11 minutes. Edges should harden up, but centers stay soft.
06 - Leave the cookies on the tray for 5-10 minutes before moving them over to cool completely on a rack.

# Notes:

01 - Centers should stay a bit gooey.
02 - Don’t mix too much when swirling doughs.
03 - Dough can chill in the fridge overnight.
