Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a rimmed sheet pan with parchment paper.

Position the salmon fillet, skin side down, at the center of the prepared sheet pan. Brush the top of the salmon with 1 tablespoon olive oil.

In a bowl, toss the chopped broccoli florets with the remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil until evenly coated.

Arrange the broccoli florets around the salmon on the sheet pan. Sprinkle the salmon and broccoli evenly with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Sprinkle the minced garlic over both the salmon and broccoli. Top evenly with shredded Parmesan cheese.

Place the sheet pan in the preheated oven. Bake for 15–20 minutes, until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily and the broccoli is tender.

Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
