# What You’ll Need to Make This:

→ Batter

01 - 125 grams all-purpose flour
02 - 150 grams granulated sugar
03 - 4 grams baking powder
04 - 1 gram fine salt
05 - 2 grams ground cinnamon
06 - 2 large eggs, room temperature
07 - 120 millilitres pure maple syrup
08 - 120 millilitres whole milk or non-dairy alternative
09 - 60 grams unsalted butter, melted and cooled

→ Glaze

10 - 120 grams powdered sugar
11 - 30 millilitres milk

# How to Prepare:

01 - Preheat oven to 175°C. Grease and line an 20×20 cm baking dish with parchment paper.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon until well blended.
03 - In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, then add maple syrup, milk, and melted butter, whisking until the mixture is smooth.
04 - Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry mixture, stirring only until just combined to prevent overmixing.
05 - Pour the batter into the prepared dish, spreading it evenly. Bake in the centre of the oven for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the centre emerges clean.
06 - Allow bars to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack for complete cooling.
07 - In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar with milk until a thick yet pourable glaze forms.
08 - Once bars are fully cooled, drizzle glaze generously over the surface. Slice into bars and serve.

# Extra Tips:

01 - For a deeper maple flavour, add a few drops of maple extract to the batter.
02 - Do not overmix the batter to preserve a tender crumb.
