# What You’ll Need to Make This:

→ Marinade

01 - 60 ml Kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce
02 - 15 ml fresh lime juice
03 - 15 ml olive oil
04 - 15 ml chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, finely chopped
05 - 5 g ground cumin
06 - 2.5 g smoked paprika

→ Main

07 - 700–900 g flank steak or skirt steak

# How to Prepare:

01 - In a small mixing bowl, whisk together teriyaki marinade, lime juice, olive oil, chopped chipotle peppers in adobo, ground cumin, and smoked paprika until well combined.
02 - Place steak in a shallow glass dish. Pour the marinade evenly over the meat, ensuring both sides are coated. Cover and refrigerate for 1 to 4 hours for optimal flavor infusion.
03 - Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grates or pan surface to prevent sticking.
04 - Remove steak from marinade, allowing excess to drip off. Grill steak for 4 to 6 minutes per side, or until it reaches desired doneness. For medium-rare, target an internal temperature of 54–57°C.
05 - Transfer steak to a cutting board and let rest for 5 minutes. Slice thinly against the grain for maximum tenderness. Serve warm.

# Extra Tips:

01 - For tenderness, always slice flank or skirt steak thinly across the grain.
02 - Adjust spiciness by increasing the amount of chipotle or adding crushed red pepper flakes.
03 - Delicious served with grilled vegetables, rice, or in tortillas for fajitas.
