# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 115 g unsalted butter, melted
02 - 120 g creamy peanut butter
03 - 150 g brown sugar
04 - 50 g granulated sugar
05 - 1 egg
06 - 1 egg yolk
07 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
08 - 160 g all-purpose flour
09 - 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
10 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
11 - 180 g chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
12 - 75 g peanut butter chips (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 175°C. Line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk melted butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Add egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined. Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt, mixing just until combined. Fold in chocolate chips and peanut butter chips.
03 - Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still slightly soft and gooey. Let cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then lift out using the parchment paper and cut into squares.

# Notes:

01 - For an extra gooey texture, slightly underbake and let the bars set as they cool.
02 - For a crunchy twist, add chopped peanuts or pretzels.
03 - Top with melted peanut butter or chocolate for more decadence.
04 - Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
