# What You’ll Need to Make This:

01 - 450 grams large shrimp, peeled and deveined
02 - 45 millilitres olive oil
03 - 30 millilitres freshly squeezed lemon juice
04 - 0.5 teaspoon fine salt
05 - 0.25 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
06 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
07 - 0.5 teaspoon paprika
08 - 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
09 - Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
10 - Lemon slices, for serving

# How to Prepare:

01 - In a large mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, oregano, paprika, and garlic powder until fully combined.
02 - Add the prepared shrimp to the marinade and toss gently to coat all pieces evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes and up to 2 hours.
03 - Thread 4 to 6 marinated shrimp onto each pre-soaked skewer. Set aside on a plate while assembling remaining skewers.
04 - Heat a grill or nonstick grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the shrimp skewers for 2 to 3 minutes per side until shrimp turn pink and are cooked through.
05 - Transfer shrimp skewers to a serving platter. Garnish with chopped parsley and lemon slices. Serve immediately while warm.

# Extra Tips:

01 - Do not marinate the shrimp for longer than 2 hours to prevent overcooking by the lemon juice.
02 - Leftover shrimp can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
03 - Marinade may be prepared up to 5 days in advance and refrigerated until ready to use.
